I am Estefania, a Christian and Bilingual therapist. I love supporting people based on scientific evidence, however I also combined my therapeutic sessions with my faith in Jesus. Science can do the possible, but Jesus can do the IMPOSSIBLE!

RaphaPsych will support you in your healing journey through education, teaching and applying scientifically proven skills and tools, along with the help of Jesus, who brings hope, purpose, identity and restoration.

Mientras tenía una sesión con una consultante, ambas coincidimos en que el sobreanálisis la estaba llevando a crear una falsa creencia: que podía controlarlo todo. 🧐👇🏼

El sobreanalizar se siente como una acción productiva, sin embargo, esa sensación de seguridad es engañosa.

El cuerpo permanece en un estado constante de alerta y la mente no descansa, creando la ilusión de que el miedo se está reduciendo cuando, por el contrario, lo mantiene vivo. 😣

Haz solo una cosa: invierte en la capacidad de soltar preguntándote: “¿Este pensamiento me acerca a la calma o me aleja de ella?”🤎

Y si hay algún miedo que se esconde detrás, no dudes en buscar ayuda profesional … por que Dios no te ha dado un espíritu de temor, si no amor, poder y dominio propio ✨

While having a session with a client, we both agreed that overanalysing situations was leading her to create a false belief that she could control everything. 🧐👇🏼

Overanalysing feels like a productive action. However, that sense of safety is misleading.

The body remains in a constant state of alert, and the mind doesn’t rest, creating the illusion that fear is being reduced when, on the contrary, it keeps the fear alive. 😣

Do just one thing: invest in the ability to let go by asking yourself, “Does this thought bring me closer to calmness, or does it take me further away from it?”🤎

Don’t forget to seek professional help if there is any fear hiding behind, because God hasn’t giving a spirit of fear, but love, power and self-control ✨

At the beginning of each year, many people make a plan: they set goals, calculate earnings, and put their desires onto a beautiful, well-decorated piece of paper.

I’ve done it too.
But this year I decided not to.
And I’ll tell you why.👇🏼

Last year I made a plan for 2025.
Do you know how much of it came true?
Barely 10%.😣

So—what went wrong?🧐

Here are some risks that are almost never mentioned:🚨

- You plan and ask for material things, believing your value lies in what you own, and often without clear vision. This reinforces self-pressure, comparison, and a constant feeling of not being enough.

- You plan but forget that it’s only visualisation—NOT control…You know life is unpredictable. When this is ignored, frustration, stress, and guilt appear.

- You plan from a place of need, believing that achieving something will fill unprocessed emptiness.
The result is often more damage, hopelessness, and emotional pain.

- For believers: you use God as your servant instead of your Lord (when it should be the other way around), and something dangerous happens—spiritual guilt (“I lacked faith/prayer”), feelings that God ‘has forgotten you’, and idolatry.

The point is not to discourage you.

It’s to invite you to focus on what truly matters:
what no one can steal,
what doesn’t decay,
what isn’t seen…
but remains. 🤎

Do this instead 👇🏼

Spend time alone with yourself and write: What values and principles do I want to cultivate this year?
And if you’re a believer: How can I stop using God as a “dream facilitator” and allow Him to be the center?

Share this with your friends who are making their 2026 vision boards, so they do it with the right intention.

Toma mucha energía ocuparse de sus propias heridas y por eso muchos prefieren no encargarse de ellas, sin embargo esos momentos de alivio y claridad, dan sentimiento de paz y ligereza, forman tu identidad, construyen autoestima y valor propio, dan dirección y propósito a tu vida 🤎

“Él sana a los quebrantados de corazón,
Y venda sus heridas” Salmos 147:3

¿Cuántos se han ocupado de sus heridas y se sienten más en paz, más amor propio y más identidad?👇🏼

- You feel guilty for prioritising yourself
- You start to feel like you don’t quite fit in
- Your sensitivity increases
- You wonder if you’re being too dramatic
- Moments of relief and clarity appear

It takes a great deal of energy to tend to our own wounds, which is why many choose not to face them. However, those moments of relief and clarity bring a sense of peace and lightness; they shape your identity, build self-esteem and self-worth, and give direction and purpose to your life 🤎

“He heals the brokenhearted
and binds up their wounds.”

Confronté suavemente a una de mis clientas. Después de la sesión, me escribió diciéndome que no quería continuar con las sesiones. Le respondí preguntándole si había algo que le hubiera incomodado y me disculpé si ese había sido el caso. Ese día no me respondió.

Un par de semanas después, volvió a escribirme para agendar una sesión y actualmente sigo atendiéndola. ☺️

Esta fue una gran oportunidad para modelar cómo puede ser una relación saludable. Podemos estar en desacuerdo, pensar diferente y tener conversaciones difíciles; sin embargo, las relaciones sanas se confrontan desde el amor, se escuchan mutuamente, hay honestidad y cuidado, y se resuelven las cosas juntos. Eso es lo que fortalece la relación. ✨

Yo confronto suavemente a mis clientes, y lo hago desde un lugar de amor y cuidado. 🤎

He escuchado que muchos clientes prefieren terapeutas que los confronten de manera respetuosa, con amor y honestidad.

I gently confronted one of my clients. After the session, she texted me saying that she didn’t want to continue with the sessions. I replied, asking whether there was something that had bothered her, and I apologised if that was the case. She didn’t message me back that day.

A couple of weeks later, she reached out to schedule a session, and I am currently still seeing her. ☺️

This was a great opportunity to model what a healthy relationship can look like. We may disagree, we may think differently, and we may have difficult conversations; however, healthy relationships involve confronting one another with love, listening to each other, being honest and caring, and resolving things together — that is what strengthens a relationship. ✨

I do gently confront my clients, and I do it from a place of love and care. 🤎

I’ve heard that many clients actually prefer therapists who gently confront them with compassion and honesty. What are your thoughts on this? 👇🏼
